I was also at Koonung Heights for Loz (our latest intern’s) commissioning. They had a great BBQ raised a few funds and the frisbee got quite a workout. (I never knew you could purposely bounce a frisbee from one person to another!)

Warrnambool UC had a fun lunch on 4 May with the sausage & onion smell wafting from the balcony in through the hall as people left our AGM after communion: much communion for all. Lots of people brought yummy salads or desserty things or just helped out. We hope to have another couple of BBQs before 3 Jan and raise a few more $ to help us get to Melbourne. A couple of us flew the frisbee the previous day during lunch break at the presbytery meeting: very impressive frisbee: even I could catch it! I was too busy trying to keep the snags up to take photos but will try to click some snaps next time. My Port Fairy butcher was keen to hear what we were raising funds for too. I’ll add an update when we’ve got firm dates so if you come to see the whales in Warrnambool you might get a snag or vege burger for a good cause too! Look forward to seeing you.
