There are YouTube versions of some that are smaller, and suitable for online veiwing if thats all you want (approx 6mb), but for use in promotional activities, we recommend the Medium as a minimum for projection or TV display. If your connection to the internet prohibits downloads of this size, we will post you a free DVD on request. Just contact the NCYC office and ask!)

Sorry, don’t have time this week to make all the fancy links, but if you’re after small - medium and large versions of these videos, most of them are here - just click the link and then there should be a nice list of files for you to right click - save as. Enjoy them the not-so-user-friendly way for now!

I tried to open these files as I was told they were very funny & good & I am not opening a 37MB file: that will use up several months worth of my broadband allowance: could you please add beside each title how big the file is. I gave up opening the files because as funny as they are, it looses impact when I have to wait about 10seconds for my computer to catch up, part way through the dialogue. I need other publicity as our church doesn’t have a projector (has a lot to do with an enormous north facing window which lets the light in, & the number of projectors needed for people to be able to see. We use an ancient OHP for song words.
Could you please have some smaller files for publicity?

Hey there Kate,
We’re in the process of re-exporting all of these in Large, Medium and Small sizes for the web and sorry about not having the MB written next to them, my bad!
If you’d like a DVD of all the ads we’ve done so far, drop me an email (russell@rwg.com.au) and we’ll make you one and send it out to you - also we can chat about what other options you’ve got for OHP etc…

These ads are too bloody big to download, not everyone has broadband
and sledging the Uniting Church doesn’t help either.

As I said up there Jeff, we’re exporting out the ads at Small, Medium and Large sizes so that people can download them without broadband, unfortunately I just moved house and internet hasn’t been connected yet so I haven’t had a chance to upload them all yet. Be sure to check back in a couple of weeks - sorry about the delay.

Hey jeff, sledging the UCA is the last thing we want to do. NCYC is a Uniting Church gig, and we don’t want to lose that - it means that we can do some great stuff before, during and after the convention.
I guess what we’re trying to do (as one of the writers) is point out what makes NCYC different from everything else - ‘traditional’ Sunday worship services, other Christian conventions and conferences - that’s why Norm is called that, he is what’s ‘normal’. And NCYC definitely isn’t normal!
We certainly don’t mean to be offensive, just look at the funny side of things.

I’ve seen a sneak preview of the promo video that Russell and Jesse are hard at work on, and it’s FANTASTIC!
I’m really delighted at the excitement that the promo video conveys, as well as all the information about our key speakers and music and other things that are lining up for a great NCYC experience.
The promo video is on a FREE DVD that will be released just before Easter: it will be mailed around the country, but if you don’t get onto the list of contacts from each Synod, you can request your own copy. More details to follow …

Man! Thats an awesome promo!! Nice work guys!! It was well worth the download and man, it goes for ages. You should promote it as a Promo MOVIE!! Very very funky.
